Nail Art For Soak Off Gel (Like Gelish, Shellac Etc)?

Anyone out there have tips for nail art with soak off gels? Can u use regular nail polishes with gel? Have no idea how to do this? Do you just draw the art on top of the gel top coat after it's cured? Any ideas?

My sister is a nail tech. and everytime she does my nails with gels (only kind I get) I pay close attention to what she does. You can most definitely apply any regular nail polish to them. She usually does a coat of solid polish first then does nail art,or she does french tips and nail art over it,or you could mix it up. Nail art only with no base coat or just clear. Its an endless amount of options for gels.

Okay..sorry for giving you this advice before asking... What kind of soak off gels are they? Were they professionaly done or nails already cut and shaped in a pack?

Soak off gel, the gel nail polishes that you paint on and the cure in uv/led light (like sephoras gel shine, or gelish, shellac, axiom... Etc)
