Use browns/Grey's or light colors instead of black and just soften it up with a blending brush real well instead of making it bolder :)

Try something like this, a pretty standard smokey eye (white all over, black in the crease and underneath) but with a dab of a bright colour on the inner corners to make it a bit different :)

definitly not. i have a sephora pallet that suits my eye color and it has a everyday look and a smokey eye look. you can do either, but the everyday look for the brown pallet would look great on you!

My school didn't allow makeup so I don't really know where a school that allows makeup would draw the line. It's literally just a black and white smokey eye with a bit of colour on the inside corners. It was mainly the idea I was getting across though, it could I obviously be done in brown with a gold or a plum colour on the inner corners or something to make her eyes pop :) I just think adding a little bit of colour on those corners can make the colour of your eyes pop nicely without having to use the colour all over

Thanks :) I'm probably gonna have gone getting people in trouble at school now ha... Make sure you only do it to a level that your school won't mind! Lol I use to go way over the top and they always made me take it off so I just ended up a bare faced misery. Still do go OTT now tbf, just no one tells me not to anymore!

You want to go with neutral colors. The vanity palette (Wet N' Wild) is a good palette for everyday. You can get it on amazon for 7 bucks. If you can"t get that just use different shades of browns. Make sure the colors are light, medium and dark to achieve the definition of a smokey eye.
