I'm a 16 year old girl that weighs about 95 pounds. Every article I've read online or every weight and height scale I've read says I'm underweight. I'm extremely self conscious of myself and I don't know what to do. I get crap from people all the time that I'm "really skinny" and whatever they have to say. I eat constantly and I eat healthy. My friends tell me not to worry but I fear that I really am unhealthy. Many people also tell me not to worry because later on in life ill most likely form into my "womanly" shape and gain weight. So, should I try and gain weight (how?) or am I overreacting and shouldn't worry about it?

I wouldnt worry about it. Im 26 and still skinny. Im 5' 7" at 107 lbs. I cant change it. Ive been called names, made fun of, been criticized by guys, and been to numerous doctors. Just embrace it. You'll just fill out nicely when your older ;] that's what I tell myself! I make sure to eat healthy, lots of protein, no skipping meals, and make sure Im active and exercising. Focus on being healthy and not your weight!

I'm also 16 and weight 99 lbs. I feel your pain people say things like that to me everyday. I don't think trying to gaining weight would help I've tried gaining weight before I've tried everything out there and nothing worked. Your not unhealthy I talked to a doctor and she said that lots a people are like us and that were perfectly healthy:)

Well everyone is different, as long as you do eat, are you tall? And people shouildn't be judgemental, just make sure you are eating, not over excersizing, and getting the right amout of sleep, and you should be fine, love yourself for you <3
