It would depend what outcome I am going for to pick a color line. I am loving Igora for reds though!

I use keune too. I love it. I used goldwell for years and a few yrs ago i switched. The grey coverage is amazing! Im independent and its affordable.

becky are you willing to lose some length? You already have layers right? I would lose a couple of inches, add face framing with side bangs, and do some color for dimension. I got lots of ideas if you let me in on what your comfort level is on for length.

I like the mochas from matrix, sometimes they turn a little on the salmon side but that washes out in 1-2 washes. We used goldwell for yeaaarrs and switched to matrix this year. Not liking the bleach though, nor their toning system. They still use 10 vol to deposit toner even though their new formulation in 10 vol slightly shifts the hairs pigment resulting in lift. I liked godwells colorance toners much more. They seemed to actually seal down the cuticle..

Yes on the colorance! I still use that also. Even though i switched. I find GW topchic to be rather matte. Keune is a translucent color so it gives more shine. Even on hard to cover grey. I also used matrix for years too. Theyve come a long way- they came out woth so many new colors and semi colors for their line. Thats the good ol stand by for me. :)

my stylist at the moment recommends a long choppy Bob with bangs but I'm not really ready for such a dramatic change just yet, I would be willing to loose a couple of inches Yes, I have to say thought I do like long hair which is silly really because my features would look better if I lost the length. do you have any alternative styles that wouldn't require me loosing length but still framing my face? thank-you both! x

Becky do it! when I first had bangs cut I was so freaked out that it wouldn't look good and boy I was wrong. get out of your comfort zone and take some risks while you are young and can pull off bold looks!
