UD all nighter spray? Yay or nay? I have combo skin and slightly acne prone. I asked in a separate question but what do you think of it?

How can I get clearer natural skin? I have small freckles, sunspots, acne scars.

Hannah D.
I like it alot :) I have tried the UD one and the Mac fix+ and I like the all nighter one better! fix+ is good for getting your powder to look less cakey, but UD really sets everything

yasmeen.... I think you should embrace your freckles! I would go with a Dewey finish foundation like neutrogena healthy skin or nars sheer glow!:) then to cover up the scars or sunspots you can use a dark spot corrector or a concealer. Mac select cover up is amazing as well as makeup forever full cover concealer

can you tell me how to do makeup for a photoshoot?

How do I use a toner ?
Feb 5, 2013
Hannah D.
Tania... for photoshoots I would just make sure to have a flawless face :) make sure to set your foundation with a powder! and do contour/ highlighting more heavily than normal so it will show up in pictures:) just make everything more dramatic ! but it seems like you are already pretty good at it looking at your profile pic!:)

Shy ... Facial toners, known also as tonics, lotions, astringents are solutions that remove surface skin cells, soap residue and oil from the skin. They are often heavy on water and alcohol and sometimes contain other ingredients like salicylic acid, witch hazel, benzoyl peroxide. A good toner will remove surface oils and debris which may be helpful for oily or acne-prone skin. to use it, just put some on a cotton pad and rub it on our whole face :)

Anne-Sophie... yes I love nars sheer glow because it is Dewey and natural , but it also has pretty good coverage and doesn't make you look super oily:)
Feb 5, 2013
Hannah D.
pooja.. yes it's very easy to get mascara on your eyelid:) to get it off just let it dry, then take a Q-tip and it will scrape right off .. if it is really bad then there is a device at Sally's that you put over your eye to prevent mascara from getting on your skin

and also pooja... I recommend nars sheer glow or naked foundation:) it's very good and has a Dewey finish. you should moisturize, then prime your face. A BB cream can work as a foundation for a VERY natural look:) and smash box primers are very good:) you can also use urban decay dew me setting spray as a primer!

What makeup class are you in that requires that?
Feb 5, 2013
Hannah D.
Sheryl ... for you hair you should try a big barreled curler!:) to make your eyes appear larger you should only put eye liner on the top outside of your eyes:) then put a shimmery white/cream shadow on the inner corners of your eye and on the brow bone:) then curl your lashes and apply two to three coats of mascara!
Feb 5, 2013
Hannah D.
Sheryl ... and a good way to make your lips look fuller is to put a highlight on your Cupid bow! and also to only put some gloss in the middle of your lips:)

Kenzie ... my high school has an elective you can take to do beauty type stuff. We learn everything from how to sew to doing stage makeup for a show. so that's the class I'm in
