hey. I have what is called keratosis pilaris. it's common among asian ethnicities but I have seen Caucasian people with it too. my dermatologist told me it's genetic and usually gets better with age. I suggest using a body exfoliator to slough off the surface skin cells. my derm prescribed me a hydrocortisone cream but I hardly use it. I think after all of these years I've just grown to accept it.

Rebecca W. is correct. Keratosis Pilaris is also common in fair skinned people. Products containing lactic acid can be very helpful in treating it. Some of these products are available OTC but the stronger ones are only available from your doctor via prescription.

I have that, I have been using a loofah and the bumps are getting softer . My dermatologist suggested to me to use the loofah , so I hope you get good results!

Yes I have that too the only thing that has made it better for me is scrubs &a loofa also a lotion you can buy at Walmart called amlactin, also if its too expensive don't wear scented lotions, hope this works for you it made mine go away but you have to keep doing it.

I had that this winter because of the really dry weather and I rubbed aveeno lotion on it twice a day and it went away after a couple weeks
