Hi. I'm looking to purchase a few new essential eye brushes because the only ones I own now I'm honestly not a fan of at ALL.
Right now I'm considering purchasing the RealTechniques Eyes Starter Kit, or brushes from Sigma. I'd like to hear some opinions from those of you who have more experience with the brands than I do (or any other suggestions in the same price range) so please share some of your wisdom if you'd like!

I just ordered real technique brushes. I know of quite a few people who love them all

REAL TECHNIQUES ALL THE WAY!
I have a few sigma brushes and they're nowhere near as good as the Real Technique ones. They malt a lot and aren't very soft either!

I haven't tried sigma but I LOVE the set of real techniques brushes I bought. They are great quality and are very versatile. I love watching the pixiwoo videos and seeing how Sam and Nic use one type of brush for 10 different things. I have the core collection which is pretty much all face brushes but I did also pick up one of the shadow brushes and I love it. I am definitely going to replace the eye brushes I have now with the real techniques set and buy additional ones for my professional kit.
I also love the holder they come in. It can be turned into a stand. I love it because I can wash my brushes then put the stand up, put the brushes in upside down/bristles down so any leftover water seeps OUT instead of into the handles so the brushes don't get weakened by water.

I picked one Real Techniques brush for the eyes. I believe the shader brush. I only used it once but that first time I was blown away by how effortlessly it applied and blended the shades I was working with. I'm actually looking to get more now that I get the hype of these brushes. Definitely knocks my Sigma brushes out the water.

I ordered the RT Starter Kit and Expert Face Brush recently but haven't received them yet. I do have several Sigma brushes, though. They're not bad, but there are better brushes out there for eyes, IMO. (Personally I'd recommend saving your money and buying MAC or Louise Young in that regard.)

The sigma f80 is the best foundation brush I've ever used. It makes your foundation look flawless and like your skin. It's extremely soft and inexpensive. I've never used Real Techniques but I do know that sigma never shed and feel great in your hand
