I side part my hair but I really want to middle part. I cant get the side of my hair usually opposite the side part to look normal. Any tips?

You'll have to 'train' your hair to get used to a middle part. Part it while it's wet and dry with a round brush adding volume at the roots on each side. It'll even out shortly.

once your hair is trained to the center part it will be much easier to go back and forth between. Honestly, it probably only looks weird to you because you aren't use to seeing your part that way, makes it look like an extra chunk is just there?
