I really want my hair to grow, I've bought jojoba hot oil treatment, coconut oil and mane and tail. Is that good enough?

I was really excited when I got mane and tail, but soon to find out, my cousin tells me her friend's stylist say not to use it because it is for show horses, and has extra wax in it to make their hair shiny. I did not see drastic results. But, my cousin said she was taking extra vitamins for her hair growth.

I use mane and tail on my horses and while its good its not meant for regular use since it would strip the hair of its natural oils. The company that makes it isn't going to spend big bucks on horse products to make sure it doesn't strip the hair since its not made for frequent use.

When I was younger my mom would use it on my hair and I had past waist length hair. I just started back using it this week and so far I love it.

I really didn't see a difference when I used it, but I already had long & thick hair. Hopefully you find something that will help you.

@Cassandra: But it's not in the regular shampoo isle at Wal Mart. You have to go to the pet dept.

I used it over the summer and it made my hair super long but it was course. I would recommend using it once along with the conditioner and then once it's all gone use moisterising shampoo and conditioner.
