I think the best thing is to go with your gut. you always know your self best. I had black hair and wanted to go light brown with blonde highlights. EVERYBODY thought it was a terrible idea. I went with my gut, got my highlights and they look fabulous! Now everyone thinks the black hair looked bad. If you go with your heart it shouldn't come out bad, and worst to worst just re dye it. also, you can always try on a wig or extensions to see how you like a color. Good luck:)
