Sounds like you're aiming to do it from home.
My advice? Don't. You'll get brassy, dead hair that breaks, feels like straw and can't be managed.
See a professional colourist. At least when the bleach damages your hair, a professional will do it in stages and use products to help keep the moisture in.

in order to achieve the best result possible you should go to a salon, doing it from home could result in serious damage to your hair. To keep your hair from going brassy/yellow use silver shampoo

:) I truly appreciate your feed back, but going to the salon will cost me 100+ and I have done this before at home, but I would like to know from other users what they've done.
Verses me getting upset that a salon left my hair baby chicken yellow, and said they wouldn't do anymore, they left me devistated.
I have mixed emotions with salons.

I'm a hairdresser and I would recommend goin to the salon. Yes it might cost u more but it'll cost u even more if It turns out wrong at home or your hair falls out from bleachin too much. It Will take a few times to get from brown to white blonde so don't expect it in one go. Use Schwarzkopf silver shampoo it doesn't dry hair out like others and that's what I use so know its good. Gold well 11v toner is ace but grabs really quick but good if u want that silvery look....I use it also!!!
