I have veen going back and forth between getting micro braids and a sewin.....im trying to gibe my natural hair a break so it can grow. which do you ladies think is best?

braids. I have a friend who had short hair. and got braids for a few years. now her hair is super long.

natural my hair is about shoulder length but damaged badly from over use of heat and color so i am going to have it cut

if you're up for it, do a big chop and start over. if not then cut as much of the damaged ends out and do the braids or weave. you just want a protective style that'll help restore your hair. check out urbanbushbabes and naptural85 on youtube. that will definately help
