I want to open up a salon, a hair salon particularly, so how should i start it? From home or set up a salon first and start from thre. give me some tips also!  thanku

if i were u i would start small. i would make a room for it in my home, bring in some furniture (like the sink thing etc..), bring in some products (i also suggest some drugstore makeup products) and start by spreading the word and so :)

Try from home, build your clientele and then rent a small space once you have reliable income. Then save up to open shop! My mom's a hair dresser, when she first started she took over a business that was closing and she also took over the previous owners clientele. Then after she had saved up enough, she built her own salon.
