I have my lip pierced and have realized that my lip tends to dry out bad where it is at (not necessarily where it lies). I always make sure to get the area well when I put lip balm on and I take it once or twice a day to do a lip scrub. Anyone else have this problem and what do you do?

Is it a captive ring or horseshoe ring? I know when I wore either of those I was always playing around with them, which led to me licking my lips when I did so, and that dried them out.
If you haven't already got one in, put in a stud. That way you aren't constantly playing with the ring. Also use carmex every chance you get and use it before bed. :)

It is a captive. I use to play with it all of the time but I don't tend to do so very much anymore. I don't like to do studs, they tend to cut up the inside of my lip, and also they are worse on teeth.

If you go on Amazon you can get a longer stud and a stud with a plastic back so it isn't rough on your gums or teeth. I always got long studs for mine.
