U guys have soo great pics and ideas noow can i do it at home or do I need to go a salone?
Feb 7, 2013
Sarah H.
You can do it at home, but you should look up videos and things to help you do it, and if you don't like it, you can always go to a salon and get it fixed.

Yeah I guess that's an option too :).

After reading everything steph and the others have said its clearly not a good idea to do it at home. If you want an even look, and to not trash your hair.

Ya your probably right. If I do it at home and it goes wrong, Im gonna have to spend double as much to fix it.

I think the ballayaging looks 10x better than the ombré or "dipped dye" look. Be careful though many hair stylist do not know
How to balayage properly!

Go to a salon or even a Beaty school if you have one near by. At the school there's Teacher's to help and its a lot cheaper you don't want to deal with bleach by yourself.
