Okay.
I am a natural dirty blonde hair color. But years ago I went to ultra light blonde.
Now I am tired of the upkeep and just want to dye it back to my
natural color..
What in store brands have the best results with you ladies?
(no I don't want to go to a salon...bad experience last time *cringe*)
Hahah

Stripping probably wouldn't work. There is nothing ti strip? You've removed the pigment by going.blonde. I think.

Stripping wouldn't work on bleached hair. Go for a darker colour with some warmth so it doesn't end up green. Also bear in mind that your hair will be porous and really suck up the colour.... It might end up darker than the box colour. Good luck :-)

bethany is right. by lightening it you removed pigment so stripping wont bring pigment back. you are going to have to use color.

L'Oreal Preference has the most reliable blondes. Don't pick something that says "gold" because it will pull a little brassy when you go to a darker blonde. Stick with "natural" or even ash, and choose a shade or two lighter than what you want.

Do a protein treatment before you color it so your hair won't be as porous. Also pick a shade lighter than you want to achieve bc your hair being porous will make it turn out darker. Good luck.

Definitely stay away from anything labeled gold...natural will be ok... But I suggest picking something with ash in the name... And pick at least two shades lighter than the color you want your hair to be

I would highly recommend to go to a salon. My sister had the exact same problem and she got herself light brown hair dye for the start. But the reaction of bleached hair too a darker colour is fatal. My sisters hair turned to a dirty silver with green tips after taking a even darker colour it went dark silver with a dark green :/ she went to a hair salon to get "rescued" her hair is orange now and really broken and she cant dye it any more. So please be carefull :]
