I used to have really bad scars that made me insecure. I tried out lots of methods but what worked best is this cream called Laroche Posay Mela-D. Also twice a week i mix baking soda and water in a bowl and smear it on my face as a mask. You can also cut a lemon, an onion or a potato in half and scrub your face with it every morning. This didn't really work well on me but it works for alot of people.
If you pop a pimple, rub an aloe vera leaf (the gel inside the leaf) over the area to prevent it from scarring. You can also find aloe vera in drugstores that come in a bottle. Preferably, choose one that says 100% aloe vera.

I'll definitely try some of your recommendations, great things! :)
I'm just a bit worried that all this stuff doesn't work as well on older scars (these are my worst actually), I've suffered from acne for about 15 years :/
Now that it's gone I refuse to put up with the consequences resistently!! haha
Thank you, Trish and Evelyne! :)

Bio oil is amazinng for scars etc, it can take a couple of weeks for it to kick in but its amazing and not ridiculously priced like other products. :)

Thanks Em!
Thank you Claire, interesting link! Yes it's from severe acne, anyhow I think I'm going to ask a dermatologist for advice.
Has anyone tried a vitamin c serum? Is it more anti-ageing and against pigmentation problems?
