I shave mine too and they actually grow back very very slow and not thick at all. I only find myself having to shave them maybe every 6 or so months

I shave my arms because it makes my tattoos look better and I've never had my hair grow back thicker or darker. It probably just depends on your genes or hair type

Don't shave- no one wants prickly arms! Instead, I would say to bleach or wax!!

Depends on the way your hair grows. I only shave my arms like once a week cause they never seem to grow. Mine arent prickly at all actually really smooth. You'll never know until you don't try.

I honestly think bleaching any body hair is just horrible... No hair inside and bam you walk outside and it glistens

Shaving causes stubble, I like to nair my arms. I have been doing it for years and it has definitely cut down the hair growth! I was thinking bout doing a hair removal type of video on my YouTube channel, graceandglamor.

Your mom is 100% correct- smart lady. Bleach w lemon juice now- when ur older wax or epilady. It can grow back thicker and darker when u shave. If you wax it grows back thinner and finer.

I would bleach. I think the arms are too prominent an area to take the hair off. People will be brushing against you and feel it spikey. My arm hair is fairly dark but I'd rather have that than stubbly arms.

it's really not hard to shave it lol it'd your shaving your legs take two mins to shave your arms. I've been doing it for 6 years and yeah it becomes prickly but that's why you shave it...

personally i love how my arms feel when i have shaved them.. however i hate hate hate how it feels when its all stubble. Your hair won't grow back darker, and it doesn't grow back thicker, thats a myth. All shaving does is it cuts the hair follicle in half so when it's growing out its blunt and sharp.. which makes it feel thicker(even though it's not). Waxing your arm will last longer, but I wouldn't advise it if you have sensitive skin. Either direction you decide to go, it still sucks when it grows out lol.

Shave them if you want. I shave them and i've been doing it since I think eight grade. I love how my arms look because I use to be really hairy on my arms too. Well guess I still am but you can't tell. I agree with Noelle though and the whole thing about the hairs coming out thicker and darker that really is just a myth!! :D your body, your decision. You will still be beautiful ;)

Shaving just means you have to do it more often
It doesn't grow back thicker or darker, that's just a myth...but it feels that way. If you ever let your shaved hair grow out...you will see the same consistency and smoothness.
