Natural Looking Facial Tan???

I'm trying to get out of the habit of wearing make-up for work the only problem is I look poorly because of my pale skin. can anyone recommend any natural facial tans that don't give you spots? I'm not to keen on using tans that develop over night but if they are highly recommended...fire away:)
