Whats a good brush cleaner?

I've never really tried cleaning my brushes up until now, when I have to use bold colors for stage makeup, and I hate when my natural looks get the bold colors onto my lids! I need a deep cleansing brush cleaner! Help?

If the brushes are made with real hair use your shampoo that you use on your hair, if it is synthetic brushes use bare minerals brush shampoo or any daily cleaner. Clean them at least 1 time a week to get rid of bacteria.

Anti bacterial dish soap mixed with some olive oil. Easy and cheap.
