@Gen I hate when they do that!! I had the same issue the first time I went to the Sephora I go to now. I was going to buy my Tarte maracuja oil, not knowing they didn't carry it and the one woman would not give up on selling me argan oil. I have nothing against argan oil but I'd done my research and knew what I wanted but it went in one ear and out the other.

wow I work at ulta and i am a little offended. I'm definitely not rude to my customers. it depends on the people they hire because a lot of them don't have experience or have never worked in customer service just saying. I know a lot of associates are really over the coupons since we always get ripped a new one when the item a guest is purchasing is excluded. our gift with purchase is never on time or we always run out quickly then we don't get replenished. companies hardly send us samples but we do offer a few in selected brands as long as a friendly associate is approched. I'm sorry for your bad experience but not all stores are the same

Yeh the people at Ulta are extremely rude and not helpful at all. I've heard that from many people that use to shop there. And the associates that work in the salon are not even great, no wonder they always have specials on the services.... You get what you pay for.

I like the girls in my ulta...some aren't very experienced it seems since they can't answer a question or two but always make up for it with a friendly demeanor. I've never had an issue

I like going to MAC better, the employes help me find the right makeup and its just amazing customer service + the people there are nice :)
