the women at my sephora are pretty friendly, but at ulta they never seem too helpful, I don't talk to any of them unless I'm paying or ask a question, but at Sephora they'll come by to make sure I'm finding what I'm looking for, they've even brought me a basket because i was holding a couple items

The opposite is for me. Personally I enjoy my environment at ulta much better. I've actually made some friends! Sephora they look at me weird and when I ask questions their response is so rude with a hint of "oh she doesn't know anything" idk I think beautiful women are a hit or miss, sometimes it's complimented with beautiful personalities and sometimes not haha

The Ulta near me is pretty nice. They don't have alot of people walking around to help but they are nice. One time, the cashier scanned a coupon for me and it saved me money off my purchase. The people in Sephora are very nice and so helpful. I only go to the MAC store where my friend works because other ones I have been to, there are a bit rude or there is not enough of them to help if its really busy!

I love the people at my Ulta! But they are always so excited and fascinated with my hair and ask six million questions about how to achieve it, so they never seem to notice my makeup or lack there of (and makeup is NOT my forte). They always hook me up with extra samples too.

That's crazy that you guys say that, because I avoid going to ulta whenever I can because the workers there are always so rude! And I live in Vegas. I guess it's ulta's policy to hire rude snobby girls lol

I have always liked Sephora better because I'm treated very rude at the Ulta I go to. Nevermind that each time I go I usually spend at least $50 because I'm usually there to buy my skincare stuff. I wouldn't even bother but the Sephora is one inside JCPenney so they don't always have everything. The last time I was in Ulta the girl checking me out barely acknowledged me at all. She was too busy talking to her co worker about things they could have easily discussed after I was done. They weren't busy either so there would be plenty of time for them to chat.

I also get very irritated because they eye me up like they're better, yet I've seen girls wearing smudged, uneven eyeliner (like it looks like they put it on in a moving vehicle) and unblended eyeshadow. Yea, please sneer at me while you're the one looking like you put your makeup on in the dark. Ridiculous!

I had to go into ULTA today to pick up a gift for someone and out of curiousity I decided to ask for a sample of Lorac's new primer. I wasn't going to get my hopes up that the girl I asked would provide me with my sample. She shocked me! She had the cups but not the lids to secure the product. She then proceeded to find a small ziplock bag where she placed the cup in. Not only that the amount of sample that she provided me with is enough for several weeks!!! If not longer. She was very sweet and she ran all over the store looking for the perfect sized ziplock bag. I found a gem. :)

I always have amazing service at Ulta. It's Sephora and Mac that I seem to get no service at. I guess it's hit or miss from location to location. I plan on hitting a different Ulta tomorrow than I usually do so we'll see how it is there

Omg! The people at my ulta and sephora are the nicest people ever!! Their so sweet!! They always compliment my makeup and outfit that day!! And they tell me all the good products and the products i shouldnt waste my money on!! They tell me like what makeup colors would look good with my eyes and skintone!! I love my ult and sephora! But i will say when i go to different ultas and sephorad some of the girls just stare at me..?
