well supposedly sea salt soaks are very beneficial for healing piercings...well my question is How often am I supposed to do them? my navel piercing is about 5 months old and originally my piercer told me to use Dial (antibacterial) soap which I did. Just recently, however ; I developed a keloid (I think that's how it's spelled) so I researched and apparently SeaSalt Soaks will help it reduce in size.

sometimes it's just better to go back or call the pierced and ask them
