Sulfur is very drying and isn't something you want to use long term. I wouldn't advise it. A much gentler alternative is African Black soap. You can find it at most health food stores (Whole Foods carry's it) and spot treat with Murad's Acne Spot treatment. It comes in a small tube and can be snagged at Sephora. It has a safe amount of sulfur in it which will help dry out your acne. A small dab goes a long way. My daughter and I use it. Myself I see a huge difference after two days and I only apply it in the AM after cleansing and toning. I let the selected areas dry first before applying my moisturizing spf and then I'm set. I was once a young girl who suffered horrible acne in my teens and I abused my skin trying to get rid of it. Sulfur soap was one of many great culprits.
