How can you look more tan in the winter without using a tanning bed?

In the winter I get really pale and I tried using a tanning bed but I know it can be really damaging to my skin what other options are there?

You can use a gradual tanning lotion made for the face. You'd have to look around for specific product recommendations, but as I hear, the best and most error free one is made by St. Tropez. Pretty pricey though.

Alternatively, you could just use some bronzer to give your skin a little color. It can make a pretty big difference without actually making your whole face darker.
