Keep hair away from your face. If it's hormonal the pill is your best option (Diane) and Cliniques blemish control 3 step is also good.

besides a good cleanser, the options are: salicytic acid, retin-A, benzo-clindamycin, birth-control, minocycline. The absolute last option should be accutane. Severe birth defects if you happen to become pregnant and not all doctors will prescribe it. Good look. You will eventually outgrow it.

I have had horrible scarring due to acne break outs since I was young. I have tried NUMEROUS products and home remedies that did not work to help the texture until I tried one that a friend recommended and not only did it help my texture, but my skin is smooth and it reversed many wrinkles to boot! I started using it 2 months ago and I see a 50% difference and it is getting better everyday. It is a night cream, only one product, so simple! You can find it here: http://inspireyouth.theneriumlook.com

I wash my face using Sephora's pore cleansing pad + a natural creamy cleanser. Then I GENTLY scrub my face with a damp microfiber cloth (the kind used for glasses). This helped unclog my pores and clear up my skin quite a bit. Additionally, zinc oxide cream has been working very well for me. Better than what my dermatologist has been prescribing :) Good luck!

I Get Bad Acne On My Chin But Not Really Anywhere Else. Although I Do Get A Few Big Pimples On My Cheeks And Forehead. I've Heard That U Put Some Water In A Cup And Add Salt (Not Sure How Much Sorry) Once The Salt Has Dissolved U Dip A Cottenball In It And Then Firmly Press The Cottonball On A Large Pimple Or Cluster Of Acne For A Minute .Apparently The Salt Dissolves The Top Of The Pimple/Acne And That It Soon Will Disappear. I Do Not Actually Know If This Works Cause I Have Never Tried This Out Myself But I Will Try It And Report Back :)

I am 29 and have had extreme acne most of my life but mainly since having kids. I finally went to the derm. 2 months ago and my face feels and looks sooo much better. I take doxycycline twice daily, clyndamycin topical solution and clear pore mask in the morning and cetaphil face wash and retin a at night. I wish I would have gone to a derm years ago, but so excited to see improvement.

hi I have been an esthetician since 2008. acne can be so frustrating I would also recommend the dermalogica line I use that at the spa I work with also on myself I have ance prone skin and see great results. I would recomend peoducts also in the clean start line or medibac the clean start is target for teen acne so the price point is a little better I would start with the cleanser from either line wash twice a day then use there bed time for break outs at nights not onlg a spot treatment but it helps with blackhead then for moisturizer I would go with the active moist you dont want to over dry your skin. I would try that regamine along with getting a facial that includes extraction a lot of the bumpyness is from over clogged pores . if after a month or so you feel like you need a little extra help go to your doctor and ask them about a typical treatment called clydamicine it kills the bacteria only use one a day. dermatologist are great but a lot of time they over recommend products because they are looking at it from a doctors point of view. I know this is a lot of info but dont give up when you have acne you just have to work a little harder

One thing that would work for black heads are Boìr strips or anything similar. Try something that reduces oil if you have a oily face. That's all I got so I hope it helps.

its not too bad, looks like you have a mild case of acne vulgaris. you can mention that to a dermatologist, im not a doctor, but i am a nurse. There are three different routes to diminish the outbreaks of your acne. As mentioned above in the other comments, change a few things in your diet, try cleansing foods such as citrus fruits. If you are looking to treat your acne naturally, I would suggest that you invest in 100% argan oil, this oil has natural anti-inflammatory and cell regenerating properties. I use Josie Maran's 100% Argan Oil (though it is on the pricier side, but I highly recommend it!). Acne is simply the result of overactive production of sebum, in which the oil buildup can potentially clog your pores. Just make sure to wash your face in the morning and at night. Try using blotting papers throughout the day to absorb the extra oil on your face, or purchase a pack of cleansing moist face towelettes to use when oils are visible on your face during the day. Another method would be to visit a dermatologist and ask about clindimycin topical medicine. You will see instant results, though I would ask the doctor about certain side effects, as with any medication, there will always be side effects. I wish you good luck, and I hope my tips are of any use to you!!!
