Neutrogina works great, also for a finishing touch he cetaphil lotion and it will help heal past acne scars and prevent new ones. Use as a daily routine. Also diet helps as well, drink a lot of water, and if you like soda, drink only the light stuff.

Go see an esthetician. He/she will do a skin analysis, clean your pores and get you on a good skin care regimen.

I am 28 years old and I have dealt with Acne since I was 12. Let me just say that your best bet is to go back to your doctor and do two things: 1) get on birth control. Even if u don't get on one that says its specifically for acne it'll still help. At your age, your hormones are likely causing at least some of your acne problems. 2) ask your doctor for Retin A or a vitamin a treatment for your face. Vitamin A is the only 100% fail safe way to get rid of Acne for good. If your doctor thinks its bad enough, he may even put u on Accutane which will dry u out horribly while u use it, but it'll cure your acne.
I know it sucks having to make another doctors appointment and adds an element of stress having to assert yourself to a doctor, but trust me; not only am I a fellow acne sufferer, I'm also a nurse and have been for 7 years.
P.S. generic Retin A is cheaper than anything you'll buy over the counter

If you are able to change your pillow case daily. It will help not sleeping on one with oil and dead skin build up from the night before.

try eating anti~inflammatory diet. most peoples diets are way too high in omega 6 which causes inflammation. margarine, white bread, fat reduced dairy products and processed foods and canola oil etc are terrible for ur skin. you need natural fats such as avocado and organic cold pressed flax seed oil. avoid gluten, egg white, chocolate, sugar and dairy . adopt gluten ~free grains, leafy greens, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds. sea salt and oxygen rich water. you need to clean ur blood.

@Triforce, i too was having oraltablets once, it did leave my face pimple free. But as soon as i stopped having those, pimples started again.. so do i have to go on eating medicines always? because i've heard it from many that the moment they stop medicine, they get pimples again. For how long do i take them?:(

Drinks lots of water and change your diet. No dairy and sugar. Look into a company called acne.org. That helped me a lot to get it all under control.

Dermalogica I highly recommend, I'm a beauty therapist and my salon stocks dermalogica products. Its quite expensive but works! Nekoaestetic on YouTube has a few remedies for extreme acne, homemade too, check her out :)

stop using drugstore-shit and start using dermalogica, Md formulations and Matis Purete for instance.
my skin is very similar to yours, this is my basic scincare regimen:
md f. face and body scrub twice a week
murad acne face wash
matis Purete serum
matis Purete oil control moisturiser
this is just an example of the essentials, I also have nightcreams, facemasks ++, but those mentioned is a very good start. btw. I found that the dermalogica clean start moisturiser isn't moisturizing enough at all for me, but then again, I live in cold Norway. big + for the SPF though.
stop using makeup/use mineral makeup without mineral oil or bismuth dioxide (like bare minerals!! overpriced shit!) I recommend LAminerals, they have starterkits with everything you need to a great price!
good luck.

e, too. I visited a dermatologist and he helped me eliminatiung the dermatitis and some acne. Two months ago, I visited another dermatologist, the best of my city. She helped me a lot recommendating me these products, (On the photo) and they work! I'm spanish and I don't know if they sell the products on your country. The first one I put before the make-up. it regulates the oil of my skin. The other ones I put on night, before sleep, in that order, from left to right. Oh! And she also recommendated me contraceptive pills because they regulate your hormones and it removes the acne. They work too! Good luck! XOXO
