I would love to help you! Can you post a pic of your breakouts? Have you been diagnosed with acne by a doctor? How old are you? I'm a Dermalogica skin therapist and an esthetics instructor.

Try changing your diet girl. Drink plenty of water and even try two cups of green tea with only lemon and honey as sweeteners. Eat more veggies and fruits. Cut soda, limit dairy, and limit gluten. Don't forget to get around 8 hours of sleep. Do this for a week solid and see how you feel.
For topical help, do a face mask of one mashed up avocado, 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of honey, and add in a bit of lemon juice. Let it soak into a clean face for 30 mins and rinse. Twice a week should be enough.

Does anyone else in your family have acne? I would first recommend that you stop using drugstore products. Then tend to have alcohols that dry skin out to the point that they create more oil and then more breakouts. Look into a line called Clean Start. It's sold at ULTA and is formulated for people your age. The starter kit is under $30 and will last you about 2 months (long enough for you to determine if it's right for you). I wouldn't recommend a dermatologist as they all too often just write up a prescription without the proper thorough consultation that you deserve. Research and find a skin therapist (esthetician) that is passionate about what they do and go from there.

I agree that you need to see a dermatologist but you mentioned that you've been to many doctors so I'm wondering what medications (if any) you have tried?

There is a fantastic book out there called The Clear Skin Diet. Read that first.

Stop using a bunch of products that are drying out your skin. Cut down to the bare minimum - use a cleanser (that does not contain any benzoyl peroxide or salycilic acid), a gentle microexfoliant that you can use every day and an oil free moisturizer with SPF.

Fix all that stuff for a MINIMUM of 6 weeks and see where you're at. Your acne will probably have improved just from you not irritating your skin and correcting your diet, but if it hasn't, then you can start looking into more targeted treatments.

It is very possible that it could be what your eating. Acne always has an internal root cause. Try going vegan for a week and see how your skin reacts. Also make sure you wash your face morning and night, use an appropriate toner and moisturizer to help treat the skin. A lot of times the drugstore skincare can do more damage than good, especially with acne.

I went to a lot of doctors until finally one of the doctors I went suggested me use birth control for 6months and that really helped me, after my doctor made me a peeling, try to go to a doctor and ask them about birth control! They probably are going to first make u some blood test's to see if ur problem is hormonal! But probably is hormonal and birth control could help u a lot! But go with a good dermatologist

Ah! Ok, that explains a lot! Your acne is genetic and therefore needs more than something over the counter or homemade. Are you able to see an esthetician? I know people are saying to go to a Dermatologist but believe me when I say they won't invest the time and energy it takes to understand your skin and get your breakouts under control. You've probably already realized that though.

I deff agree with Danika. I saw a derm for awhile and he just prescribed stuff that nuked my face and clogged my pores and I started seeing an esthetician about a month ago and my skin has gotten dramatically better.

A series of skin treatments and a product recommendation from an esthetician for home care is likely to be most beneficial. Not sure if they have medi-spas in Egypt like they do in the states but if they do try going to one of these. They usually have Dermatologists that work with estheticians to provide better care and results for patients. Basically, your skin needs extra care that basic over the counter products can't provide.

I worked for a long long time to get rid of my acne. It was very bad. And extremely painful all the time. Went to many doctors and tried many things that never worked. Even the very expensive products. Finally, they put me on birthcontrol as a last-chance effort. Within four months, my acne is gone:) I know this isn't a good idea for everyone. But it is what finally cleared my practically disfiguring acne.

Go to a philosophy counter and get the great skin is in kit. Wash with purity, use the help me treatment every night and moisturize with hope in a jar. Also get the oxygen peel. Use that 3 nights in a row and you will notice a huge difference. It's all super gentle and not harsh on your skin. I have transformed many faces with these products and they are affordable. Trust me, it works!
