I have recently bought some large and medium velcro rollers, from Sally's. I wanted big, volumized hair, but when i took them out after an hour or so, they did nothing? Should i put them in wet?

Wet with a little mouse will do it. If you do roll them with dry hair try heating them all up with a blow dryer and a light hairspray.

yea if you're using rollers you have to use them with your hair damp or like @alyson said heat them all up with a blow dryer. You have to break the hydrogen bonds in your hair if you want to create a new texture with rollers, this can only happen with heat or with moisture.

The purpose of the rollers is to let your hair cool completely in the intended shape. In other words, your hair has to be warm and DRY. Your hair will not dry all the way on the rollers if you do it wet, and then you will not only have limp hair, you will have frizz.

After you've finished blowdrying, you need to take a curling iron to the section for 10-15 seconds, and as soon as you release immediately roll up your hair in the roller. You can do it without a curling iron if you're just looking for volume (not curl) when you've finished blowdrying a section. In any case, clip it, set it with a little hairspray and let it cool completely (20 minutes is the norm to leave them in).
