Oh prom 💗 if you have thick hair, the best thing to do is start with some kind of a braid and work from there, because braids hold the weight better. One fun but classic style is an inverted French braid. Your stylist will braid up from the base of your neck instead of down from the crown. You can go almost any direction from this. She could braid to medium ponytail height then do a volumous top and chic bun, she could braid to a high pony height, pin the top loose, and do ends in curls, or she could braid to a high pony height, pull the top back & braid the ends of the top into the ends from the bottom and create a braided twist. If you like the idea maybe you could set up an appointment with your hairstylist a week before prom and have her play with the idea until you find "the one". Have fun!
