I have dirty blonde hair, but in the winter and gets very dark and gets a weird color. I'm looking for a shampoo/conditioner type of lightening treatment that will make my hair blonder!

Have you tried silver shampoo? it helps get rid of yellow tones from your hair... you just have to be careful not to use it too often or leave it on too long. Recommend using it once a week make sure you get a nourishing conditioner also as it can dry out your hair! :)

Sun in is very damaging to your hair, as is any acid such as lemon juice... It works, but it could reduce the overall appearance and health of your hair!
(That's what my hairdresser told me, as I have the same problem!)

Get a violet toning shampoo. It will remove any yellow (from sweat, products, pollution) from your hair. Also, try hairspray and other styling products made for blonde hair.
