I love that bright red color and i want to dye my hair that. I know it will be damaging but not sure if it would look good on me? what do you think.

Yes! I've always loved her hair. But b careful because it can be hard to get the right color. You don't want a clown red lol remember it's more of a deep rose kind of red (:

Buy Magenta dye & add some vampire red dye to it!! On YouTube they have a video on the perfect red velvet..

Dont. Its so common & unflattering its really horrible, do a more auburn burgandy, and then maybe add a very bright red dye on top of that so its not so crazy

I agree, I think you should be brave and go for it, just make sure you follow up with good repairing of your hair! :)

Yes! You would look amazing with that color!:) especially with your creamy skin tone. Do it!

Shyla M.

Yeah, it will for sure be worth it when it is all said and done!

I wouldn't! It doesn't look natural, which isn't easy to pull off. Red is a great colour, but a Ted that isn't natural could look tacky and damage your hair!

*but a red

Yeah I wouldn't. Maybe a dark mahogany color or a auburn burgundy. I wouldn't go for such a bright color unless if it were summer!

Mine is close to her color right now! I have a little more purple in mine than hers but I've had mine in for about two weeks. You will definitely have to use a color safe shampoo, I use bio infusion color safe shampoo and conditioner from Walgreens it shouldn't be more than $20 for both (together) and was your hair no more than three times a week!

@Diana im mostly in florida and in the process of moving there so its mostly like summer/spring all year lol but the way i see it is if i end up not liking it or its just not right for me i can eventually change it. and Kiersten thanks for the advice!

Don't its just a fad and soon it will be out. You don't wont to be stuck with something that you might hate. But yes u could pull it off. I think girls need to be a little more natural and keep they hair the way god made it:)

i usually keep it a brown color but i love different colored hair and her color just caught my eye. im not doing it because of the fad and trying to fit in. anything i do to my hair is because its something i think on for awhile and decide yeah. thats what i for sure want.

also a very good red dye to get is delarenzo - ruby red. I get in my hair. on top off black and they don't need to bleach it. you would have to go to hairdresser though as they mix it. stays in well with the right shampoo. I was like you, I wanted to do it for ages and then finally done it. loved it. you can always dye over it if u don't like it.

Yeah if you want but beware my friend dyed her hair red and it started falling out and won't grow back in some places!

Red is a hard color to come back from! I've had bright red dark red orange red
Know what your getting into as well upkeep can get pricey touch ups every two weeks & no matter what dye you use cheap or super expensive red hair ALWAYS bleeds I've ruined so many towels shirts too while my hair looked beautiful it was certainly a job to maintain it. And even now almost a year and half later the red is still based in my hair when I went to get my ombré hair the blond ( I had covered the red with black initially) still had traces of red/orange .
But I understand the heart wants what it wants lol! I doagree that red is gorgeous ! More power to you<3
Oh and know it sounds contradictory that the color washes out & stays in the hair follicle at the same time it's weird but sooo true lol hope this helps doll:)

Don't bleach your hair! L'oreal makes a high lift dye made for dark hair that doesn't require bleach or pre lightening. There are about 8 or 9 different shades of red so its easy to find a color you like and its less damaging :)

agree. don't bleach. find that loreal one cher said or the delarenzo. I've not had one problem with it. and it stays in my hair for ages with the right shampoo
