So I used to straighten my hair every day and I never used a moisturizing product to heal it, so it got destroyed. A lot of my hair fell out and it looks all wispy now. I got a haircut but it isn't growing back well. Any products/ideas to make it stronger and longer? And to heal it?

I'd never put anything suave in my hair. Try the anti snap, good ol coconut oil, and a good cleansing conditioner!!! Not shampoo!! Good luck!

Oh, and incidentally, I highly recommend mixing pure Argan oil in with a deep conditioner, I really like the Bumble & Bumble 20 minute hair mask that's called something like "Chemically Dependent" :)

To deeply moisturize it, I would suggest buying a jar of organic coconut oil. Also purchase a plastic processing or shower cap from a local beauty supply. Scoop out a lot of the coconut oil and spread it through ALL your hair but focusing more on the mid-shaft and ends. Cover your coconut oiled hair with a plastic cap and get your hair dryer. Apply heat to the cap for a good 15 mins. The heat will open up the hair cuticle and allow the coconut oil to seep in a lot more. Rinse out. Do this once a week and your will be in better condition then ever. Also, anytime your straighten your hair apply a heat protectant before! "Turn Up The Heat" by Beyond The Zone is a great product, along with Flat Iron Addict. Both can be purchased at Sally Beauty Supply. GOODLUCK!

If you're going to straighten your hair often invest in heat protector. A good deep conditioner and hair oils. Treat your hair to a hot oil treatment.
