I never wear make up, apart from some concealer when a spot rears its ugly head and I was wondering what are the best brands out there, not necessarily the most expensive. I like the natural look. I have my daily regime of cleanse, tone and moisturose, I exfoliate once a week and use a face mask once a week too. But when I leave the house my face is bare (see picture).
Appreciate your help.
Thanks

check out e.l.f, every thing doesn't cost much so you can play with color. Remember every make up kit should have a mascara, eyeliner, and a good moisturizer.

if you are able to buy makeup online, try out the UK brand Makeup Academy (MUA) their makeup is cheap and great quality! Their lipsticks cost 1 pound and are pigmented and creamy. I own a few of their eyeshadow palettes which are 4 pounds each. The MUA undressed palette is a dupe of the Naked palette :)
I live in Australia but some US drug store brands i like are Milani, Wet N Wild, Elf and Revlon for their foundations :)

I think you have beautiful skin girl and to be honest you don't need much makeup. I like l'oreal a lot. I agree that many places have inexpensive makeup but be careful because sometimes it's best to buy the not-so-cheap goodies for the sake of your skin. Not to say they aren't good but I personally haven't had luck and have no buy the more expensive stuff. Totally not a "high maintenance" issue but my skin breaks out and gets irritated easily. :*( I agree you should get samples and try them out first. You have a nice complexion....don't cake on much! ★

Wet and wild is a great starter. Don't let the price fool you, I just did side by side with ww gel eyeliner and a bunch of more pricy brands and we performed great. Stick with neutrals for most daily wear with a few color palate eyeshadow for starters. Almaty makes great face powders if you feel you need that. Cover girl makes a great blush trio to try. Go with a friend whose makeup you like. Don't feel pressured to spend a lot.

Oh get a small brush kit. You will get better blending results than the applicators that come with. Just tried fructise bb and love it

I love Hard Candy! You can only get it at Walmart, but I have used many different products from them and have been very happy.
