Try massaging your scalp when shampooing and conditioning your hair. It helps to unclog the hair follicle from dead skin and increasing blood flow to the hair follicle encouraging healthy hair growth. (:

try putting coconutoil on your scalp and wrap your head in seran wrap and leave on for an hour. then wash your hair with shampoo and condition. This heats your hair follicles and makes the hair grow faster. Do this once every two weeks :D

I massage my hair all the time, help stimulate the roots. I heard peppermint works too, massage that in your scalp:) don't brush when wet, and use no heat! or use heat protection!:)

Cecilia K. is right. It's mostly in the genes. The thinner/finer your hair the harder it is to grow out because its get so fragile and breaks. You have to be easy with heat and get your ends trimmed at least every eight weeks and sometimes even after all that your hair will not manage well after a certain length. Every day the ends of your hair get weaker and weaker so keep that in mind. By all means, use the oils and biotin if you like. It certainly won't hurt but don't expect a miraculous speedy hair growth.

Hot oil treatments work wonderfully. For a DIY at home approach, you can use any natural oil. Olive oil works wonders. You simply heat up a bowl of the oil in the microwave, as hot as you can handle it. Then, you apply it to your already combed/brushed hair. Massage your scalp, then either put your hair up in bun, or wrap your hair in siran wrap or a plastic bag. Allow the oil to sit on your hair for as long as possible. You can sleep with it in, its just messy. Then you shampoo it out, usually shampooing twice gets it out, then follow with conditioner. Try and avoid using heat on your hair, make sure it is always moisturised, and frequently trim it.

i love this question and i get it way to many times from my hair clients! its all about maintaining a healthy scalp. if you have a healthy clean scalp its easier to let your hair breath and push through- there are many ways to keep your hair growing one of them is buying the right vitamins= biotin, borage oil capsules, B vitamins help your scalp also for hair loss using vitB6 is great. another thing you can do is go to your hairstylist and get a scalp treatment done- its affordable and an amazing massage, most hairstylist use a mint tingle this will stimulate the scalp along with they will scrape off any excess residue on the head which leaves the hair able to grow through.. think of it as raking your yard it will let the grass grow through similar concept. drink lots of water as well!! good luck
