I get very dry, red raised patches that itch ever so often (don't know exactly what it is) and I use a gentle face scrub & IMMEDIATELY afterwards, I use Vaseline's Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Lotion all over my face. It is the ONLY moisturizer that helps stop the itching & it heals the patches. It's not heavy at all on my face & a little goes a long way - like half of a dime size. Hope you get some relief!

I have had the same problem my whole life. Mostly on my legs & arms. I was using Cetaphil but, have switched to a more natural approach using OCM. I love olive oil & coconut oil. It has really helped. I'm a total Rash Queen :( when I had my baby 11 months ago I got Pupps & mix dermatitis all over my body!! It sucked so bad :( it has taken months for me to heal my skin.

You can get Cetaphil at any drug store. Ocm stands for oil cleansing method. Do a google search you will find alot of info. I know alot of ladies on this forum use it too.

Oil cannot moisture because it repels water. But it can trap moisture already there. Use olive or coconut oil right out of the shower to trap moisture on skin. You can also mix up a 1:3 of glycerine to rose water in a spray bottle (similar to the Mac fixing spray) since glycerine absorbs water it won't let the air dry you out. Always use a light oil after washing or splashing water on your face, but never on dry skin. Wash only at night and in the morning splash your face with water but use no cleanser.

Yes it's a body lotion, but its the ONLY lotion so far that works for my face. You should be able to find it in your local drug store. I too developed the rash during my pregnancy w/ my daughter!!! Those darn girls, they give you problems when you carry them, LOL! j/k

I would recommend, however, that if you are eager to try all these new products and ideas, try them one at a time. Using more than one will confuse your skin, causing it to be more irritated than before
