It's hard for me to leave my hair in it's natural state because it looks too frizzy when dry! It's not super curly, it's more wavy. I curl it, straighten it, and style it a lot in different ways. Any advice to help me calm my hair down so I can wear it naturally?

No heat. Heat allows the cuticle to get far (frizz). I would go a week without blow drying (sad I know). Get out of the shower do not rub your hair all crazy . Pat it dry. Apply products. The natural wave will stay.

P.s heat = bad for your hair. Washing it everyday =bad for your hair. To get the healthy rich beautiful hair you want. Blow dry less. Train your hair to do what you want it to. & check your shampoo. Do not use volume products , it makes the hair frizzy .

To get the beat results out of conditioners. Even when I'm not at the salon ill tell my clients. If they insist on doing it at home . Apply the coconut oil on your hair (after the shower. ) place a shower cap on your head wait 30 mins. Rinse with cold water. The directions may say other wise but its kinda of a treatment we do at the salon.

This product is like a leave in treatment that works wonderful! I usually get like a dime size amount and put it in my hair, then brush it through to distribute it. I do it right after I wash my hair.

Spray your hair with hairspray. Braid or put your hair in a bun at night and don't brush it in the morning. Curly hair gets frizzy when its brushed. Don't straighten or curl it too much either. The heat can destroy your hair

I don't use shampoo but maybe 3x per month. I only rinse well use organic conditioner. After shower I scrunch water out & turbie twist it. My FAV product is a thick style cream (Rusk Wired is my goto) & maybe a light diffuser if I'm in a rush. LUV my curls!!!!!

if you reverse wash your, meaning put conditioner on the midshaft and ends and only shampoo the scalp you will keep moisture in your hair. It's will keep your hair healthy and shiney no matter what. Water is your hairs biggest enemy. water swells the hair shaft making it easy to damage. It's best to dry your hair with a dry then to let it air dry. The longer its saturated with water the more likely you are to have split ends because the cuticle on the hair strands rub and catches on each other. When your hair is dry the cuticle tightened up and lays closed down.

I have curly hair too and it gets pretty frizzy. What I do is use sulfate free products and after showering I use some pro naturals argan oil on my damp hair and comb it through, then I leave it to air dry without touching it too much. The argan oil helps it to stay smooth and define the curls. Also, I braid it before bed and put some of the argan oil over the braid to prevent it from frizzing or drying out.

My friend has super curly hair and she puts a little bit of mousse in it when it is damp and then she just lets it dry. I love her hair so much and it looks so pretty and fun to play with
