If you are using an HD powder or any face product that contains titanium dioxide or some other type of sunscreen, that is what causes the problem. Hope it helps!

Try Smashbox. They specialise in not giving u flashback on camera and they do a great setting powder which I totally recommend.

In addition to what Jacqueline said, any SPF in your base will contribute to flashback. I live in Texas on the Gulf Coast and wear high SPF ever day. Lucky for me I'm pale enough that flashback isn't such an issue, but all my girlfriends struggle with it.

smashbox photoset loose powder. i don't recommend using mac prep+prime i used it for years till i realized it gave my skin an ashy look when used in flash photography. smashbox and ben nye neutral set are my holy grails even though i wouldn't recommend ben nye for everyday use as the ingredients are not really the best for skin but do look good in photos!

It you have a white cast on your face in a picture it's most likely an abundance of spf in your makeup.

Zeropowder is definitely the world's best! zero talc, silica or parabens and absolutely zero camera flashback. It has a real cult following with makeup artists on instagram. and rave reviews x
