How do I keep my hair from getting split ends ?

I just got a hair cut last month & my hair is already getting spilt ends what can I use to prevent my hair from getting damaged then what it already is .

use a super moisturizing leave-in conditioner on the ends, and once a wear try doing an olive oil hair mask. Mix together olive oil and avocado and apply to the ends and throughout the mid section of your hair, leave it in a few others and then shampoo and condition. It works well for me.

Where can I get products to help me . because I have really bad split ends -.- & I just got a hair cut I hate . thanks for the advice .
