It's mostly whatever you feel better! If you use your fingers make sure you wash your hands even if you think their clean. If you want a flawless look use a flat stippling brush. Make sure you wash your brushes everyday or every two days!

Well it all depends really on what look your going for if you want a flawless face I recommend first applying your foundation with a stippling brush I use one from a Sonia Kashuk collection and then blend over it with a beauty blender it makes your foundation look flawless but if your in a hurry I apply my foundation with my fingers I hope this helps

up the foundation and it gets wasted! they do apply good though.
