best cure for dandruff and dry sclap...pls tell me..

I always have flaking on the day I first wash my hair unless I wash wish Selsun Blue or another weird smelling dandruff shampoo. When I was with my regular stuff that smells amazing and I love my flakes go away the next day or 2 when the natural oils build back up. Maybe you wash too often? Just an idea, I wish my hair once or twice a week :)
