I like gel! Becuause unlike liquid its not tooo wet and unlike pencil its not too dry. I use gel on top, then black eyeshadow with a moist eyeliner brush on the bottom so it's not tooo harsh

I like liquid more. Analissa, it smears probably b/c you are not using a good one. Mine's Kiko Milano and it looks and lasts longer than the pencil.

liquid is a more dramatic, intense effect and dry is a more casual effect.
I prefer dry and like Ashley said, eyeshadow with a moist angled eyeliner brush is my favorite technique.

I prefer pencil. I just think its quicker than gel or liquid. The only time I use liquid is when I do a wing.

I always tend to use eyeliner in combinations... I like gel and pencil. I love the finish of gel. And if you do it right, it doesn't smudge at all.
