I have been using a Paul Mitchell pro tools iron for 5 yrs but now it's not working as well. My stylist recommended a Croc but the reviews I'm reading aren't good. What's the best iron? What's a good one that will last longer than a year?

I'd recommend the basic chi straightener. It will last you just as long (maybe longer) than your old one :) although I've never used one I know many people who have great things to say of it
