i have this in onyx and i have to say its probably my darkest black liner. its super super creamy and soft. but thats where this product goes wrong, its SO creamy and SO soft that well.. hello, smudge central! even when i set it with an eyeshadow. i now use this product just as an eyeshadow base, it works great for a smoky eye! so as a liner.. eh, eyeshadow base...yes.
this was the first liquid liner i bought and ever tried when i was starting off with makeup. at the time i thought it was the most amazing thing ever, now that ive played around with other liners and found my HG liner.. this product is well, average. i find that it takes a while to dry and we all know how much of a pain that is when you apply your liquid liner then accidentally blink or sneeze or whatever, and your liner smears and smudges. also i found that the product stung my lash line quite a bit and made my eyes watery, it could just be me but yeah this product just didnt end up working for me. but like i said, its average. nothing horrible, nothing great, average.
i absolutely love this liner. the only place in my town that sells milani products is my local kmart, and theyre pretty limited. they only had these liners in the black and the silver, i opted for the black one of course (reallllllly want the turquoise too). the product itself is super dark, super pigmented, super creamy, the application is like butter. heaven. also ive heard several times from other beauty bloggers that this is a dupe for the Urban decay 24/7 glide on pencils. i would have to agree but... in my opinion, the milani ones are a lot better. i find that their staying power is so much better than the urban decay's. yes urban decays has really good staying power but when i swatched both of them on my hand and then tried rubbing them off with my fingers the urban decay was the first to budge. and come on, less than $5 compared to $18? its a no brainer here. repurchase? hell yeah.
HOI! this concealer is probably the best drugstore concealer by far. i really couldnt justify spending over 10 bucks for a concealer. hard candys glamaflauge is really opaque and pigmented, it gives great coverage. only thing i wish it would do is brighten the undereye a bit more, if they came out with glamaflauge in color correcters... oh man..
the blue color was what caught my eye in the store. ive been on the hunt for a super vibrant bright blue such as this one by milani so i figured, hey why not its a pretty color, and milani hasnt disappointed me before. i went home with this product very excited so i tried it right away... i was highly disappointed. the color and pigmentation.. amazing, the product itself? horrible. the consistency was so thick and goopy like Kris E. said, i found myself working twice as hard and taking twice as long to apply my eyeliner with this. the staying power however was pretty intense. it takes some rubbing to get this off. and im sure you dont wanna be scrubbing at your eye area.. hello, wrinkles. yeah.. im not repurchasing...
since hearing many positive reviews about this product i went out and bought one of my own. i an surprisingly pleased with this product. i mean its not the best blush/bronzer in the world but for 3 bucks? yeah its worth it. i love the shade of both the blush and the bronzer, only reason why im knocking down a star is because the bronzer doesnt blend as easily as id like it to. i feel myself having to work more at it to get it to the way i want it to look. i may get the NARS orgasm/laguna duo when i decide to splurge but for now, this will do.
i really wanted to like this product, i tried different application techniques, whether its a duo fiber brush, or a kabuki it just wouldnt work for me. it made my makeup look powdery and caked on (even with a light application). it's 3 bucks so i guess you get what you pay for. really really really wanted to like this and to use it as an everyday setting powder but sadly.. it just didnt work out. 2.5 stars.
