Beauty Product Reviews
I am a big fan of the mini foundation brush. In fact, all the brushes are my favorites. Most makeup kits are overloaded with a million brushes, but this bag provides you with the essentials. One for foundation, blush, powder, eyes, and brows--that's it. The brushes are soft and easy to clean, and the pretty bag holds almost all of the makeup stuff I use everyday.
Beautiful matte dark red. Goes very well with my cool skin tone. It tends to chip off a bit when I apply it, probably because it's a bit dry. Doesn't glide on creamy. But not really a huge issue for me.
$3!!! It takes a few coats to get it as black as night, but it doesn't smudge or run. I got this last night and so far (after 5 hours on my eyelids), it has stayed sharp and dark as when I first put it on. The brush it comes with is rubbish, though.
Go for Gold - YUCK!
I had four bottles of different gold polishes and I somehow chose this out of all of them. Mistake. Sure, it looks nice. It lasts long--too long. I used nail polish remover after a week of wearing it but was dismayed to find that I only managed to remove the gold coloring. I was left with a thick coat of silver polish that not even more acetone or a nail file could take off. I had to painstakingly scrape it off with the sharp edge of a tweezer. Damaged my nails in the process. This was not worth the $5.
All-time favorite nude polish ever
Years of searching for cheap nude nail polish has ended. 2% Milk is my favorite out of all my nail polish colors right now, and for less than $2!. It is not streaky, not too thick, and is buildable. I used three coats to achieve the shade I wanted. This would also look good with a white tip for that French manicure look.
