I have the old MAC palette that you can customize with different shadows but it's falling apart. I got the small Z palette to try and I love it! Perfect size and I've got six MAC shadows in it. I'll probably buy the larger one at some point but I like having something portable.
Keeps everything together. I couldn't live without it now.
At first, I found the idea of a Z palette really disorienting (What do you mean I have to work to depot my single shadows to get them into one place? But I have so many other palettes!). But, having owned one for several months, I can say that it's perhaps the best way to streamline your makeup collection and bring your favorite things together The packaging is slim enough that it won't take up too much space in your drawer, but still has quite a bit of space. The cardboard packaging will definitely show some aesthetic wear and tear around the corners, but it is incredibly sturdy. Having the magnetic backing means I can put all of my favorites into one palette, which makes traveling so much easier. While it may take time and a bit of extra $$ to get your shadows (or any product) into the Z palettes, it will absolutely make your life easier.
