Not quite there but still great
Received this foundation complimentary from Influenster for review. This foundation really is a luxurious product that falls in both the cosmetic and skincare categories. I would say this is more of a medium coverage foundation, not very buildable and satin/radiant finish. Works well for combination skin but not so much for someone with very oily skin. I love that theres spf 50 which saves me one step in my morning skincare routine. The color I received was Porcelain, which appeared to be a good match based on the online swatches but it was 3-4 shades lighter than my actual skin tone. I might have liked this foundation more if it matched my skin color but I really couldnt tell due to the total mismatch in tone. I dont mind the hefty price tag, as I use Cle De Peau (my absolute favorite) but I just didnt think this foundation was as good. Again, it could have been just the shade mismatch.

I am so impressed with this foundation. I am always a bit hesitant to try anything that states it is “dewy” or “moisturizes”, as I usually find that it actually means “sticky” and “greasy”. While this is a bit tacky going on, it blends well with a beauty blender and dries wonderfully to a soft air brushed look that subtly catches light to give you a fresh looking face. I love that the illuminators are not overwhelming like other brands; there is just enough to perfectly accentuate/highlight. It also feels really nice on, almost as if I’m not wearing anything at all. The foundation does have a slight scent from the sunscreen, but it is hardly noticeable. This is a medium coverage foundation, but easily builds up to full coverage, without caking. Lastly, I wore this for 10 hours straight without any sliding or wearing off; basically, it stayed put all day. For reference I have combo skin and get oily pretty quickly. I am also wearing the ‘0.5 Porcelain’ shade of this foundation; perfect match for me. **I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing and reviewing purposes.
