Coverage Foundation

Saw some utubers using this product, saw some people whom enjoy it and some who didn't, however I wanted to try for myself! I use the ordinary's oils and enjoy them so I recently ordered this foundation and I love it! My skincare is consistent so I personally feel as though this foundation looked beautiful on my skin!! It's not overly full coverage but it's enough and it builds up a bit, I am enjoying this foundation!

FYI I have dry skin all over my face with a slightly oily nose and I do not have any major skin issues that need covering like acne scars or heavy redness. For the price of this foundation I was very happy with it. I ordered my foundation, contour and highlight shades (still only 1/2 the cost of one bottle of my other go to foundations) and I really enjoyed how my makeup look turned out. This is a light/medium coverage for sure, but I was able to build it up easily and I was pleasantly surprised with how well my highlight shade covered my hereditary purple/blue under eye area. I didn’t feel the need to go in with my usual peach corrector/conclear combo. This formula really melted into my skin and was forgiving on my dryer areas. Next time I will add in my usual few drops of facial oil and I think it will be a home run. My powder products layered over it very nicely and the color match (I did order multiples to be fair) was pretty spot on. I got the feeling that if you apply it with a brush, it will streak on you. I pumped out the product onto a palette and using a paddle brush, painted it onto my face and then blended it out/pressed it into my skin with a damp sponge. This method of application worked very well and resulted in that “your skin but better” look that I much prefer to the “heavy, you are for sure wearing a serious base product” look that insta and YouTube are making so popular. I really hope The Ordinary keep this in their line because I can easily see this becoming my go to daily foundation product.

This product and entire brand is so refreshing! Exceeded my expectations! Great coverage, light weight, great color variety. Wish I would have found the brand sooner!

Amazing coverage for a minimal cost. Not the best of ingredients and would not wear this everyday but really does a good job.
