Artisans in Hiroshima, Japan handcrafted the brush holder with walnut and maple wood using a technique similar to Yosegi—a woodworking method that involves combining various types of wood, using the differences in their natural colors to create intricate patterns. The front of the brush holder showcases two cranes flying over a lake at the foot of Mount Fuji, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to the Atomic Bomb Dome Preservation Project Fund.
