Worth the hype!
I love how you only need just a drop to cover your entire lips. You dont waste any product and one tube could probably last a lifetime. I adore the Technopagan shade. It's my favorite out of all of my lip tars. In bright lights it looks very blue and in regular lighting it almost looks purple. I like that different variation of color. I'm very happy with OCC lip tars and I will continue to repurchase!!
Great colour payoff & super unique.
I've tried and fell in love with my share of lip tars, but Technopagan is by far my all time favourite! It looks like a beautiful metallic purple in some lights, and a stunning blue in others.
This was my first metallic lip tar, so I'm not sure if all metallics fall under this, but I found this one to be a bit thicker and stickier than the normal formulas. Apart from that, I found this product to be awesome! A little bit of product went a long way and the colour payoff did not disappoint.
Backs up the Hype
The formula is everything you've read or seen. It's so pigmented you literally put them on in the smallest dots and paint it on your lips. You may need two passes/swipes to get the intensity to match your tube. Considering how smooth it goes on your lips this won't take long at all. There is a slight minty smell and sensation that goes away quickly. Lip Tars mix easily with other Lip Tars and even your normal lipsticks if you want to create your own signature shade.
Technopagan's color is a metallic dark blue blue/purple. Maybe a deep indigo is a better description. For such a vampy shade in the tube the highlights and color shifts on your lips is amazing. Highlights can appear blue to purple, while the shadows can appear almost black. Eventually it will dry down to a muted shimmer but not a pure matte. Dark lip colors never made me gush like this but Technopagan did!
Out of this world
I have never seen a lip product this color before and it is beautiful. It's not something you would use everyday, but I think it's going to be fantastic for Halloween, cosplaying, and clubbing. You don't have to apply much and you get insane color pay off. Worth it!
